Cloud flexibility without cloud costs

Your laptops, desktops, and phones already have spare compute. Murmur turns that idle capacity into elastic infrastructure for the heavy work — risk runs, model training, overnight batch — and only reaches for the cloud when it has to. Same elasticity. A fraction of the spend. Your code, your models, and the meaning of your data stay on your premises.

Platform

A private cloud you already own

Every device on your network is also a small computer that's usually idle. Murmur turns that idle time into elastic infrastructure — on your premises, under your control, with a bill you can predict on day one.

Hardware you already own, working harder

Your laptops and desktops are already on your balance sheet. Murmur turns the hours they sit idle into production compute. Cloud is the automatic backstop — not the default.

The meaning of your data never leaves the building

Each device gets a math step and the raw numbers it operates on — stripped of labels, schemas, and model context. The numbers travel; what they mean doesn't. Compliant with GDPR, SEC 17a-4, and DORA by design, not by configuration.

Any device, any mix

Windows laptops, desktops, Android phones, iOS devices — mix and match. Murmur routes each task to the right chip on each machine and pulls back automatically when a device is busy or running hot.

One flat, predictable bill

A single license fee. No reserved-capacity contracts, no data-transfer charges, no metered surprises. Add workloads, train more models — the price doesn't change. Your CFO knows the number before the quarter starts.

Drop-in deployment

Pushes out through the device-management tools your IT team already runs (Intune, Jamf, Omnissa). No new hardware, no network changes, no agent fighting for resources — just a background service that uses spare capacity during quiet hours.

SLAs you can sign

Devices come and go — users close laptops, phones lose signal. Murmur reroutes work in real time, and if your fleet can't finish in time, the cloud fills the gap automatically. The deadline holds.

How It Works

Three steps. Your code and data never leave your server.

1

Split

Submit your workload to Murmur. The platform breaks it into thousands of tiny math steps — the kind of operations any chip can run. Your algorithm stays on your server. The numbers go out stripped of labels, schemas, and anything else that says what they mean.

2

Send

The scheduler hands those small steps to your devices based on what each one can do, how busy it is, and how warm it's running. Heavy linear algebra goes to GPUs; lighter math goes to the neural chips in modern phones and laptops.

3

Reassemble

Results come back to your server, where Murmur stitches them into the final answer. Same answer every time, on every platform — Windows, Android, iOS — matching to within rounding error.

Security

Your IP stays in your building — by architecture, not policy.

Traditional cloud sends your algorithms and the meaning of your data offsite. Murmur sends each device a math operation and the raw numbers it operates on — stripped of labels, schemas, model context, and anything else that would say what those numbers mean. The numbers travel; the meaning doesn't.

  • Devices see math operations and bare numbers — never your algorithm or model
  • Field names, schemas, and labels stay on your server — the receiver can't tell what the numbers represent
  • Mutually authenticated TLS on every connection — both sides verified
  • Structured audit logs your compliance team can read
  • Compliant with GDPR, SEC 17a-4, and DORA by design
WHAT EACH DEVICE ACTUALLY SEES
task: 7f3a... do: multiply two matrices input_a: [128×256 floats] input_b: [256×64 floats] precision: FP32 deadline: 5 seconds # Just numbers. No labels, no schema. # No algorithm. No model. No IP.
Built into the architecture. Not a setting you can turn off.
Why Murmur

Your cloud. Your premises. Your control. One price.

Cloud takes your data offsite and bills you in ways you can't predict. Building your own datacenter gives you control but costs millions. Murmur gives you elasticity, full data sovereignty, and a flat price — on hardware already sitting on desks.

Workloads

Built for the compute you run every night

The work that keeps the business running — risk runs, model training, overnight batch, reconciliations — is mostly the same handful of math operations repeated billions of times. Murmur runs all of it across the devices you already own, for one flat price. Every workload you add makes the platform more valuable.

📊

Risk & Pricing (Monte Carlo, XVA)

Option pricing, portfolio stress tests, exposure and counterparty calculations. A full night's risk run, finished in seconds — on the laptops your team already uses.

🔄

Overnight batch

End-of-day reconciliations, report generation, scheduled data transformations. The jobs that have to be done by 6am every weekday.

🎬

Media processing

Video transcoding, image processing, audio conversion. Embarrassingly parallel work that splits naturally across many machines.

🧠

Model training & inference

Train models across your fleet, then serve them on the same hardware. One pipeline from training to production — and your data, weights, and prompts never leave the building.

🔍

Data pipelines & validation

Quality checks, transformation jobs, regulatory reporting prep. High-volume work where the bottleneck is throughput, not logic.

🔬

Scientific & actuarial computing

Actuarial modeling, clinical-trial analysis, physics and engineering simulations. Compute-heavy work that splits cleanly across many machines.

Performance

Tested on real hardware, real workloads

Not lab simulations. Murmur has been put through production-scale risk workloads running on the same kinds of laptops and desktops your teams use every day.

  • A full overnight risk run finishes in a few seconds
  • Tens of millions of risk calculations per second, sustained
  • Identical results on every platform — Windows, Android, iOS — matching to rounding precision
